Why is Content Crucial?
Why is Content Crucial?
- by Timothy Caron
Hey Guy’s and Gal’s, I’d like to talk about content and why I think it’s crucial to your blog, but I’d also like your comments about a simple question.
Have you thought of outsourcing your content to other writers or do you write all your own content?
Here are a few reasons why I would consider outsourcing, but ultimately I write my own content.
Let’s look at some of the following:
First of all, people come to the web for one thing and one thing only – information. Whether they’re shopping for products to buy or looking for a natural remedy for their acne, they’re hitting the web for information, advice, and help.
If your readers find quality information from you they’re very likely to: Read the rest of this entry »
Don’t Go Phishing on Twitter? You might get scammed!
Twitter Funny Video Phishing Scam
-by Timothy Caron
Just saw this upon starting up TweetDeck this morning. Looks like some folks are getting a virus which then sends out DMs saying “rofl this you on here?” regarding an alleged funny video featuring the recipient. The link leads to a spoofed Twitter site where unknowing folks may enter their Twitter credentials and where the instigators can then gain access to more Twitter accounts and perpetuate the ploy.
If you get such a DM, don’t enter your Twitter log-in data on the spoofed site! If you’ve already done so, try to change your Twitter password as soon as possible.
This one almost got me, and I am typically wary of such things.
Google results for the spoofed Twitter page address, http://videos.twitter.secure-logins01.com/, are growing quickly.
Don’t get caught in the Phishing Scam.
Until next time, have a wonderful day.
Are You Playing it Safe?
Thinking outside The Box
-by Timothy Caron
Hey Guy’s and Gal’s,
A recent video by Seth Godin talks about a different way to do business, by not playing it safe.
All to often we play follow the leader because it’s safe. Let me explain.
How many newsletters are you a member of, so you can be kept up-to-date on the next latest fad in internet marketing? And is it getting you anywhere? Are you following through with what they tell you or are you just sitting on the fence?
Step out side of the box for a minute and watch and listen to what Seth has to say.
I’m interested in hearing what you think about this video in the comment section below.
Does it make you re-think anything about your business?
How can you go about finding the people who want to hear what you have to say.
Until next time, have a wonderful day.
